Just thought I'd let ya'll know that I'm getting married in March of '98. Also, if anyone is located in Houston please give me a call at (281)807 9637. A group of us have been trying to get something so graduates can get together every now and then to shoot the shit. If your interested then give me a call.
Hey Carl, The Website looks great! Let's think about doing a graduate golf and Texas Rangers weekend outing instead of a Pig Dinner? What do you think? Also, we could invite the UTA and SMU graduate chapters to participate.
Looks like the external chat server is filled up at 8:00pm! Sorry to anyone that tried to hook up! I was unable to log onto my own room :( Anyway, soon I will set up a local chat server so we wont have this problem, I will post a note when this is resolved... Ps, it works later at night and on weekends, anyone with any interest to try it, let me know when and I will post it on the front page!

I tried to CHAT last night. Thanks for trying to set it up Carl. Mybe in the future we can video chat.
There is a NEW chat server installed, it does work FAST! I hope Robert and everyone else will give it a try on Tuesday night(s) 8:00 pm (Central Time).
It could be really fun, who knows?
and Paul, whats with the entry above this one, no comments, just wanted to say you'd been here?
Hey merriman, It looks like you owe me twenty dollars, it turns out coultas isn't a gay after all. Is coultas marrying colette or did she never get the long overdue nose job. Haufe
Greetings all, after founding out med school was not for me i decided to go out and find myself. i am currently living in Decibelio, New Mexico. It is an Indian Reservation. i have become good friends with one of the Chiefs here and he tells me my spirit animal is the snowy white owl. i thought that was cool. just want to send peace and love out to everyone especially my big. i will sign off as ayrumba
No Comment.
Who is my mother? No sig for you. And yes, bcq does stand for Brotherhood/Chapter Quality. Long live the Upper Echelon!!!!!
So it's good to see you are all still alive and kicking. The page looks good. Maybe some night I can figure out how to make the chat thing happen.
Whoever the hell wrote my previous comments did a nice job. they are certainly more comical than these will be. I am actually still in school, and no, i cannot legally prescribe dope yet, so stop asking me; check with Barnet on that one.
The page looks great, Carl, whoever the hell you are. You've done good work!
By the way, I got engaged (Why? I'm not sure.)
Hey Worley, my guess would be that we have Braxton to thank for the messages. Just a hunch. They send the kid halfway around the world and he still manages to be a pain in the ass. ...and Coultas, I may have called you a lot of things, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't one of them. I'm all for golf and beer if the "chapter" decides to kiss off Pig Dinner, whoever mentioned that. This is a great page, Carl. Thanks a lot.
Howdy bros.,
I am in grad school at TCU getting a Master's in Geology. The latest rumor is that the chapter, the whole damn thing, is gay. i dont know if it's true, but it sounds pretty serious.
Carl, the page looks tip-top.
For anyone who hasn't heard, the chapter is putting on a concert starring Robert Earl Kean, Jr. in March. Brothers get front/center seating priority.
I really have nothing to do right now, so in the immortal words of Robert Plant, I guess I'll just Ramble On.

Hey guys, anyone remember the time I lit my own hand on fire and was running around screaming in the chapter room, "OH DEAR GOD NO, I LIT MY HAND ON FIRE! MAKE THE PAIN STOP FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY! THE PAIN! THE PAIN! ARRRGHHHH!!"?
Ahh... memories..

Hey bros,
Well, I seriously doubt too many of you really give a damn what I am doing, and I'll be honest - I live this life day in and day out, and I almost don't care either.
But, as fate has it I am working on a Master's down at Texas A&M University. Surprisingly, they have their heads up their asses even moreso than TCU. Let me just bitch about something right here and now:
I'm at the Post Office getting some mail. I park get out, and go about minding my own business like I always do. Over my shoulder I hear, "Hey Jeep Boy!". (I drive a Jeep Cherokee, so this gets my attention). I turn around and some fat tub of lard is sitting there burning holes right through me with his beedy eyes. Anyway, I wait for this guy to walk right up to me, and he goes off on me for 'Parking in a handicapped space'. Uh-huh. All this has pretty much caught me off-guard, so I tell him I didn't mean to, and would be gone shortly, anyway. He then has the f'n nerve to say something like, "Hey, don't drive with your eyes closed". Real pisser. So, I go check my mail, and go back to my car. I look, and the spot NEXT to me is handicapped, not mine. Annoyed, I got out and confronted this person. He simply will not accept that I am not in a handicapped spot. I invite him to come out and check for himself. He accepts. So, we go out and sure enough - I was right. He still won't give in, though. Eventually, after we walk around the spot 3 times and it is clear as day the spot is for anyone, he admits that it isn't a handicapped spot. Yet, he proclaims I am still a jerk - get this - because I ACTED like someone who would park in a handicapped spot. WHAT A LOAD OF FUCKING BULLSHIT.
The moral: Don't be that guy. When you make a mistake own up to it like a man.

Yo, what the fuck's up? How are things with the chapter? What's goin' on with the new pledges? Are there any slutty sorority girls, that graduated that happen to live in San Diego, I could bone. My girlfriend and I are on the verge of breaking up. She graduated from school and decided to grow up (but, she is immature as hell), fuck that! I'm working in San Diego as the Assistant Controller of The Trane Company (it is a HVAC company). HVAC means heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. My boss is cool, he surfs and in his younger years (he is only 36) he smoked the HERB. So, we can relate to each other. I miss the HERB (I mean college). Woops! College was a great fuckin' time and the real world blows a big fat cack! Other than the nice paychecks, I'd rather be hitting on slutty sorority girls, drinkin' beer, smokin' the HERB, and hanging out with friends (brothers). Take care. Later, Eric
Damn good page. I was a pig dinner and heard all about this page and had to drop by and check it out. I am also glad to see brother's e-mail addresses! perge'
Brothers, I'm finally on line! You know, us old folks fear change, but what I truly fear is a fraternity of young men who prefer a country music concert to a night of revelry with hundreds of sorority girls in low cut party dresses. Maybe times have changed? GET LAID!

This is my new info, I'd appreciate it if you would update my shit. Great page. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Living in Todd Coleman's house down in Austin. Got a job at an industrial design firm named DesignEdge. Still waiting tables, wanted to go to Pig Dinner but, alas, did not. I live in Nashville with my wife, Jamie. I still work for Columbia/HCA and currently manage a clinical software development group.
It is great to learn that everyone is doing well in life. Please call if ever in Nashville. My phone number is (615) 233-1102.
B/CQ is now the biggest award sought in the Chapter at Pig Dinner. I went to Coultas' wedding and Haufe is right. Coultas is gay! I am working for USA Waste Management and going to Texas A & M Law Center. If anyone who is on the "list" comes to Houston, give Craig Martin a call at 713/521-7887 and ask for me. perge'
Thanks Sam, at least someone gave the slightest clue about what went on at Pig Dinner. How bout the concert? $uccess? What is the BQC award? Sorry some of us couldn't make it this year...
Carl
The B/CQ award is the Brotherhood Chapter Quality Award. I started the committee my senior year and created the award for the brother who influences the Chapter in the most positive way. Sub committees included cattle guard, hair, date, Kappa Train, and Apathy to name just a few. The dinner was small and uneventful. The concert was great but started too late and was on Sunday. I heard we made a bunch of money. I think we could of had a Casino Night party, and the concert on a different weekend. As a graduate, it is fun to be able to go to a party with 18 to 22 year old, and thanks to Sebastian and Cearley 14 year olds, Kappas. Maybe MDA doesn't make as much without the concert, but I think Casino Night is more for the Graduates. After all, how much has MDA raised and still not found a cure (insert conspiracy theory of choice)? My suggestion, which will go to the upper eschelon of the B/CQ Comm, is to have both. Just like our last Frog Follies Theme! prege'
Pull your head out Webb
Only Delts leave anonymous messages. If you are going to post something, do not be afraid to reveal your identity, Brother. You must still be upset about not winning the B/CQ award. I understand. perge'
I was just reading through the boring accounts of pig dinner and the shit kickin', dip spittin', good time everyone had at the substitue for casino night, when I ran across Eric Charlton's message. It's great to see that some of the younger TX brothers still like to get laid and get fucked up! I agree that growing up sucks, but it has it's advantages (women who can admit they enjoy fucking, and good BJ's). Keep rockin, Eric!

Tau Dueteron '76 I would like to know the name of the rush captain for your undergraduate chapter.
Thanks, Kevin
Just wanted everyone to know that the effort for rush this summer has been great so far. There are a record number of brothers in town this summer who are going out of their way to have a successful rush. I know that the chapter could use some names of incoming freshman. If anyone has any names please call the Matt King at (817)924-4754.

ok I'll finally sign this book. As you can see from the picture section, I've become a bit bloated, but not as bad as Sundstrom and Cornell were during school years (imagine them now). I've undertaken an exercise program and hope to be back to playing weight soon. I still think Coultas is gay, but to his credit he didn't try anything on me, or on Carl as far as I know.
If you didn't know, Lee Ramsay was voted Man of the year by the Texas Man/Boy love association. I believe he is back living in Gladewater, enjoying old Cosby reruns.
I'll share one quick story-- when I was a freshman we had a retreat at Marvin McMurrey's ranch, where we played a modified version of capture the flag. To avoid capture, Cason Lane and two other guys waded across a river. But then Cason got cold, and to warm up, the goofy Cajun MF pissed his pants. Yes, on purpose.
Bye for now, perge'

Ok, a new school year? How about rush dates/times info, etc.etc. I am trying to help here, maybe I should change the name of the page to "who is gay this week", any help would be appreciated... Chapter?

Did the fraternity and all of its graduates die? There haven't been any posts....Hello?
Congratulations to all of the Minnesota brothers on the election of Jesse "The Body" Ventura as their new Governor!
Maybe you didn't know that our new govenor here in Minnesota isn't only a ex-wrestler... He co-starred with Arnold in "The Running Man", "Predator", and played one of the 'men in black' in a recent x-files episode.
So, that makes him seem a little more qualfied now doesn't it??? And if that doesn't he was also a navy seal, so if you come here he'll kick your ass!
I hope we can get a good turn-out for this weekend at homecoming. i believe some of the guys are trying to get an in-depth chapter history down so an eventual UNDERgraduate website can be the most complete possible. Some of you in the area: please show up! Frank Allen ('82?) came down all the way from Minnesota one year, so come on!
Jesse "The Mind" Ventura is profiled in Time Magazine this week. An excerpt: "He lives with his wife of 23 years, Terry, and a teenage son and daughter on a 32-acre horse farm in the suburbs of Minneapolis. Posted above the front door of his red brick colonial house is a sign: FORGET THE DOG. BEWARE THE OWNER."
I'm glad to see this forum is still alive to some degree. How was homecoming?
Hey Guys, I just wanted to let you know you have a great chapter and thanks for the hospitality this past weekend. It was nice visiting.
The chapter is doing well, they just need to get the pledges' heads' in their books instead of in their asses. Please add my email to the list. Thanks.

I am currently in my last year of medical school in Spingfield, IL. I have begun to interview for a residency position in General Surgery and am looking in the midwest and south.
I have also been working with Bobby Mullins on this years Pig Dinner and we are looking for some volunteers to help contact fellow pledge brothers so that there will be a strong showing. If interested, let Bobby know. I hope to see some of you in April. Take Care.

Where is Casino Night on this year's Pig Dinner weekend program?
Why is the chapter so broke after the incredible redneck event that supposedly made so much money for the chapter last year (and killed over 10 years of Casino Night tradition in the process)?

I finally graduated from college after nine years. Better late than never...
Check out the web site www.ahn.com. I'm responsible for the site's technical aspects from software development to server maintence. The web site is very neat.
Does anyone know anyone in Austin who specializes in UNIX software development or support?
No Cory, all the money they raised went directly to MDA. Heaven forbid that you actually take out money to cover your own expenses - they probably lost money on the concert. I remember the debates over whether the fraternity should focus on social events or be run as a business. This shows they decided on neither one. Why have fun events for the graduates when you can sell cookies door to door and make more money for charity?
now i know why we have no alumni support and do not enjoy the same graduate support that other tcu fraternities do. instead of people boycotting what they dont like, lets try supporting the new ideas. even if the motives or details are in question, people are NOT changing things to purposely screw things over. we have to ask ourselves: why do we not have a grad chapter or some sort of advisory board? the undergrad chapter has to struggle with finances and other means of support and, while perhaps there are ways it could be better managed, what's stopping all of us graduates from contributing our time and money? casino night took alot of work but was fun and pretty much worth it. i dont know if its planned for this year. i really dont know if another concert has been planned either. however, this year's pig dinner weekend plan is supposed to be good. a reserved room above the flying saucer in dwtn FW, golf, the dinner itself, and i think some other stuff. are we willing to come back for a weekend to gamble simply because we've done it the last ten years or so years or so, or are we coming back to chill with our old buddies? something to think about brethren...
Wass happenin'? Looking for Andrew Deutsch. Does anyone know his email? Last I heard he was trying to make movies. I want to get in on it with him - in an acting or directing or producing or financing aspect. Yo Yo Deutsch check out the pic. Pic in the photos section, hopefully. Amen - Hartig.
Mike I. - I appreciate your comments. You obviously care about the chapter, but I don't agree with you. By putting less effort into Pig Dinner weekend (I could set up a golf tourn and reserve a room at a bar with three phone calls), the chapter is missing their best opportunity to connect with graduate brothersr. I believe that there is no good excuse not to support the chapter, but it's a two way street.
I think you would have a different perspective if you had a chance to attend casino night as a graduate. I'm sure you experienced some of the hard work and headeaches associated with putting it on, but I wish you could experience the pride of walking into the room after being away and watching hundreds of TCU babes drinking, gambling, and having a great time because of something TX created.
Maybe if the actives would read this web page, you would get the chance someday.
EMP perge'
cory,
i appreciate that and you're probably right; i never have had the experience from the grad perspective.
all,
i have already contacted some grad bros and others will also, but last night a few area grads met at the house to see about forming an informal board of chapter advisors. it's to let the undergrads know that we'll try to help with ANYTHING if they need it, whether it's financial, rush, advice, whatever. we split up the phone list to let people know about this, to find out if they're coming to pig dinner, if they know about this website, if they get the purple link (email bobby mullins if you dont), or if interested in helping out in any way. do people have suggestions regarding this? please email me.
I think it might help if the chapter would bother to answer my emails and email me a electronic copy of the PLink. I would be able to put it up, but I don't have the time to digitize my own. On an earlier argument, I would be much more likely to fly 1000 miles for pig dinner if casino nite was still alive! Congrats Hartig, my little brother made me a grand big brother! Check out the newest legacy on the photo page! Perge'
PS. look for an announcement about a new domain exclusively for tcufiji's!

I have noticed that much of the content on this page is centered around Casino Night. As most of you know, the chapter did not do casino night in favor of a concert featuring Robert Earl Keen. We did raise a lot of money for MDA at the concert and it took an enormous amount of effort to pull the whole thing off. To be frank, last year's membership numbers and graduate support made it very difficult, if not impossible to do two big events in the same semester. We opted to do the concert, and I believe that we made the right call, for the P/R that we got as a result of it was VERY good for the chapter. Due to some unforseen circumstances, we found ourselves in a money crunch this year, and we opted to do the concert again. At this point, plans are still in the works.
I was the chairman and chief organizer of the last Casino Night the chapter put on (Spring 1997). I know what a great time it is (and also how much work it entails) and, truthfully, I would like to bring it back. It often disturbs me that we let over a decade of tradition slip away. I am going to do everything I can in order to revive the event for next spring. I would venture that our pledge class this semester is one of the strongest spring classes in this chapter's history. I fully expect us to have a great rush next fall, which will give us the means by which to put on not only a great concert, but also to revive the tradition of Casino Night. I plan on starting work on Casino Night next fall and to chair the committee after my term as president expires. I sincerely believe that this chapter is improving at a phenomenal pace and that next year we will have the means to have a year filled with great events. Thanks for putting up with all of us here, and I hope to see you all at Pig Dinner on March 27th. If any of you have ANYTHING on your mind regarding the fraternity, please do not hesitate to drop me an email. Thanks for your input.

Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch. What the hell. It's just like being back at TCU.
Cory- Make those phone calls. How about an annual grad golf tournament. Pig Dinner weekend or some other time. The undergrads can then come out and ask me for money while they carry my clubs.

Use this email address wisely and please, for the love of god, don't send me porno, I hate that. (Sends lots, I'm an f-ing freak for porn!!!) Interesting comments. Hope all is well and keep up the good work. Sorry I missed the concert.
CARL, NICE WORK ON THE PAGE. I MAY BE IN YOUR AREA AROUND JUNE, GIVE ME A CALL. SAM, TAKE THE DIP OUT.
It's nice to know that I am no longer on the "suspected to be gay" list. For those of you who know how I got on this list, I would appreciate it if you could fill me in on the details. I'm sure it's a good story. Anyway, I need for someone living in Austin to drop me a line. I am going to be moving there in June and I need a place to crash until the end of July, when my wife comes up and we get our new place. I promise not to steal your girlfriend/wife and I am housebroken. Drop me a line at samere@wt.net. Thanks

Yeah Sam, that was me. Glad to hear you're over your bout with gay-ness, though.
Hey, I heard that the bar Tucker bought, The Ale House (old Abernathy's) burned down last month? Can anyone confirm/deny? How ironic is that if it is true? The fireman's bar burns down. Not funny I guess...
...actually, come to think of it, its damn funny.

Well, I'm finally catching up to the 20th century as it draws to a close. Kudos to the active chapter and Carl Hanson for using the web to help graduate brothers keep in touch. Sounds like there is still alot of passion out there from all brothers, (Cody Mcleod) and undergrads. Look forward to "chatting" with you all soon.
Forgot to mention, I'm living in the bright lights of LA. If anybody makes it out this way, don't hesitate to call. The Babes are gorgeous and dumb, a wonderful combination. Sam, isn't it obvious why you were put on the suspected gay list? Just think about it. Later...

As an update for everybody, I finally moved out of Bellaire Condos and bought a house in Bedford. I'm still single, but the "date chairman" is taken at the moment! I'm dating a really neat girl named Susan for about 6 months. I quit Grainger last year and lucked out and took a sales position with IBM in Dallas. My distribution experience paid off because I now sell all IBM products to small/medium sized wholesale distributors in Michigan and Ohio. IBM has been great so far and with the Y2K problem, things have been pretty profitable! Well, that's my life in a nutshell now.
Remember you need to email me your email address to be included in the email directory, simply posting here does not automatically include your address in the page. Hope the redesigned Guestbook ends some confusion.
Carl
Dear Brothers, After reading quite a few of the comments I do see that little has changed. Yes the chapter has always had divisions (Just ask about 1st Floor vs 2nd Floor), but if you pay attention to what you have in common and less on differences the Chapter can get more accomplished. There have always been actives who have a more serious attitude toward how everything should be done "just so" (I was probably one of those at times),but having been in the "real world" awhile I've found that everyone's opinion has some merit whether you think so or not.
The chapter's concerns are not really any different than alot of other Boards and Committees that I particpate on. MONEY and Members, especially those who strengthen it with their own special abilities, are the most common bitch that are often heard. Do I have answers? No, but I do have suggestions. Randall's comments are right, do some more impromtu golf outings. Get a Grad talking about his good old days and he'll remember what it was like when the chapter needed extra cash for everything. Don't just rely on PIG Dinner as a fund raiser, and besides most undergrads are more interested in their dates than talking to some 10-year graduates. I appreciate Mike taking the time to call me and asking questions about this and that. There is wealth of resources to be tapped, if the chapter does a little one on one contacting, start with some of original officers and work forward.
Anyway enough of that, Good Luck with this weekend's Dinner. Wish I was coming, but if you can zero in a week for next year I'll try my best to get my Pledge class together for a return trip to yesteryear. Look for my contribution in the mail.
Carl great site, I'm going to use it to find some lost Brothers and meet some new ones.

First time to see the web site. Nice job! Sorry I missed the Pig Dinner. I had a fund raiser that I had to go to for my kids' school. My wife was one of the people in charge, so I needed to be there. Thanks to Mike Indergrad for contacting me about his chapter history project and reminding me of the web site.
For those of you who don't know me, I graduated in '81 and was in the Chapter when we got our charter. I'm a commercial real estate lawyer in Dallas, and have been practicing for almost 14 years. Kathy (my wife of 11 years) and I have 3 kids, Marshall (10), Anne (7) and Paige (3). Although I'm pretty busy these days, I would like to help with getting graduate support from the guys that are around my age. Please let me know what I can do to help.
By the way, with respect to the Big Brother family tree, Kerry Huffman was one of my little brothers.

Nice job on page Carl! Nice to see where some old friends are. Sorry we were not able to make Pig Dinner, but some things came up. We live in North Fort Worth, Diana and I have a 10 month old daughter, Katherine and are very proud parents. I hope there is something else this year that I (we) can come to and see old friends and new brothers.
I am on the 5 year TCU reunion committee. It would be fun to include some TX activities in with those set by TCU.
As you remember, I am like a previous graduate, focused on the details---but also now agree that all kinds make the world go round!

in case anyone cares, the chapter room's phone number exchange has changed to 257-7907. also, i'm sad to report that TCU has prevented us from building a hut in front of the house, citing it as a fire hazard and too dangerous for people to be on (last year it was three stories tall). in place the guys are building a big bamboo sign to hang on the front of the house and having off-campus stuff all week.
the corresponding secretary has constructed an undergraduate webpage. it's off this domain (thanks for the space carl) and the address is www.tcufiji.org/undergrad/
also, i'm still compiling stories for this Tau Chi history book, so if you can send me some pledge class stories, crazy anecdotes, whatever, i would appreciate it very much!
pur-zhay!
Hello brothers... I had no idea that I was lost, until Indergard called me the other day. I thought leaving my contact information with a member of cabinet (Carlin) would sufficient; however, I must have overestimated him.
Anyway, I am now living with Gibson in Los Angeles. I have a job that I love as a television publicist, and Gibson works in a similar capacity as a celebrity publicist.
Please do your best to say in touch and I will do so as well. Here's how to get in touch with me.

Take care, I look forward to talking to each of you soon. - John
Hey Guys. Has anyone heard what the hell happened to David Symonds? I am trying to confirm if it is true.I heard that his girlfriend Amanda (snotty bitch)walked into his room and caught him in bed with another guy. She was really upset from what I heard. From the way the story sounds she packed up her clothes and vibrators and left screaming. Apparently, Symonds didn't even bother to get out of bed and try to explain the situation,he just laid there frozen. No one here around TCU has heard from him lately. And his phone is disconnected.I always wondered about that guy, he had such huge lips. Perge!
blake -
symonds moved to houston. he's living with eggers. whoever you heard that story from was high. it's amazing dave got laid once... no way it happened twice.
I live in Oklahoma. It sucks here. Someone please e-mail so I feel like I have a life (then I won't have to read this guestbook and live vicariously through you screw-ups). Seriously, if you want to know what I have been up to (a Ph.D.), check out my homepage: http://students.ou.edu/B/Ryan.J.Burns-1/
While I have never been disillusioned by this bond that we call brotherhood, as being any more than friendship and sometimes lifelong friendships at that, I do however expect a certain amount of respect from one brother to the next. Blake Simons remarks on this website on May 20th were not only slanderous but a flat out lie on his behalf. I have shown Blake my friendship and respect for over 5 years now and this is how he chooses to return the favor. Although, it has crossed my mind to retort to Blake in his own fashion, It is clear to me, that it is not me that Blake disrespects but it is himself. I would like to thank Carl on the super job he has don on the website. I am living in Houston Now where my good friend Dan Eggers will be joining me at the end of June. I have a new job as the Director of Operations with an audio, video and home automation company. I am in the process of completing a new house which is both fun and tiresome. I can be reached at my new office in Houston at 713-686-1600
Greetings brothers, great looking web page. Just letting everyone know what i am up to. i am about to graduate from a small school up in Boston and am about to get married in august. We will live up in boston. does anyone know anything about trip meade?
stuart perge
I know that Trip Meade stole my Lenny Kravitz CD and then used it to keep me awake when we were neighbors at the house. Was that the kind of information you were looking for?
Hey guys,
Finally got a chance to breathe....oh no!....I hear footsteps....must be Robin...back to whipland.
Ronnie

P.S.

thanks
Mike

Stinking Huge
I heard that you were involved in that little Bill & Winston duo! Is this true? Let me know
Please email me with your email addresses if you want to be included in the graduate directory. Thats a sure fire way to stay in touch.
Thanks, Carl
For the record McCown is full of shit about being Winston's gay lover. I have been and always will be straight, unlike some of the people who choose to write in (McCown!). I am currently living in Ft. Worth and am doing some really interesting work for a law firm (making copies and routing faxes). I hope everyone is having a good summer and that no one is being to whipped! Later-
Vassar
Perge!
Well, I guess it's time I signed the ol' guestbook.
I thought this was my first time, but evidently I said something really crass about one of my good friends and brothers.
Come on, SERIOUSLY! Dave, or anyone for that matter, was that the first horseshit lie and false name that has ever been used on this site? No.
Dave I tried to contact you @aol.com, but not response. Is that address still active?

bros,
for those who dont know, i have moved to waco TX and my number is 254-756-4394. i still plan on being involved in the BCA up in FW since it's only a little more than an hour away. for anyone who is wondering, i'm still working on chapter history book but nearing completion. so, please, if you would like me to include something you think would make for a funny story, a lesson for future guys, or something to let others know what it was like in your day, feel free to email me or call me.

Been in Bosnia since Feb and will be back in Sep. Plan on going to Homecoming in November. See you there.
Nice work on the site!
I just read the latest comments and it’s nice to see that no matter what directions all of our lives take after college days - - - some things will never change. It sounds just like past meetings.
I checked out a couple of the home pages of the brothers that have them and it sounds as though they are doing well. Congratulations to Ryan Burns and Trey Hargrove on all your achievements. Congrats to John Hartig too on your son!! I think I speak for everyone when I say . . . . Thank God he got his mother’s looks!
Quick update on my life: I got married Sept. 1998 and we went to the Greek islands for our honeymoon. I highly recommend the island of Santorini if you ever get the opportunity to go that way. (Fellow PhiGams Paul Weyrauch, Andy Warford, Bryan Nowacki and Kyle Paur took part in the wedding) My wife (Krysha) and I bought a home this past January in Plano, Texas. No kids and no current plans for any - at least for a couple more years. Krysha is the Finance Director for the Chamber of Commerce and I am the North American Y2K Project Coordinator for a global insurance services company - - - That’s just a fancy way to say I’ll probably be looking for a new job after 02/29/2000.
Plan on returning for Homecoming this year. Hope to see some of you there.
Later . . .
Sara and I are still in Springfield, IL. I started my General Surgery residency in July. Glad to hear everyone's doing well.

Sorry about the last entry.
GREAT NEWS! The chapter has pulled off the most successful rush I have seen. As of last night they have 27 pledges, with 7 still sitting on bids. 27 is the highest on the row. I witnessed first hand that these are quality guys, and I don't mean the usual bullshit of, "Oh yeah, these are all cool guys". They really are. They are all pumped as hell for the fraternity so that was good to see. This puts the chapter at over 70 members. Definitely a different story from a couple of years ago. This would be a great time for more alumni to get involved with BCA and other avenues so we can add to the momentum. It's good to see people are planning on being at Homecoming. Let's try to get as many people as possible in town for that. Hell, we may even hear from Herd! Hope everyone is doing well. Barnett, good to hear you're slicing and dicing. My new phone number is 817-926-6801, and my new address is 3622 Suffolk Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76109. Feel free to drop me a line.
I decided to contribute again. This doesn't need to be like a wedding guestbook - you can sign it often so there's some banter back and forth, you know... Thanks Jay for the congrats on my little boy. He does look like me, and he'll be grateful for that. He just strated to crawl. Any day we'll have him wearing boots, drinking beer, and embarrassing anybody who dares to contend for the title on a pool table, just like dad. (If any of you work for a child protection agency, I'm kidding about the beer)
Just FYI, I am working for a computer consulting company up in Minneapolis. I am at the state Department of Human Services on a never-ending project converting from Novell to NT. Curious how many other bros have moved into Technology after majoring in unrelated areas like marketing??
Damn proud to be a techno-geek!
Hi brothers. I am a graduate from the Mu Tau chapter at the University of Memphis. I have just recently moved to Dallas and I was just taking a look to see what some of the local Phi Gams are doing. Hopefully I can make the drive over soon and meet some of you. Fraternally,
Lance Wiedower Perge!
McCowan is weird.
Please disregard the previous sign-in. I entered the graduation year as "1994", which was the year that I graduated, however, my pledge class was "1993". Thank you.

Just an update on what's been going on with me... I graduated law school in 1997, got married, passed the Texas Bar, practiced on my own for a year, joined the Air Force, now I'm a JAG currently stationed in Oklahoma. Unlike on TV, I don't get to fly planes. We need more guys to put some updates on this thing. Is anyone from my pledge class (besides Hartig) out there? If any of the guys from my generation are going to homecoming then yall let me know. I might try to make it.
I got a question. Anyone know exactly when the hell homecoming is? Those of us who live in BFE Washington need some lead time on these things. Are we going to light our float on fire during the parade again this year? 27 pledges huh? I guess that means we are bound to initiate at least 6, huh? Man, pledge/active football is going to be almost fair. Actually, counting for apathy, the pledges will probably have more guys than the actives. I still don't know. I've heard the "all solid guys" bullshit a few too many times. I mean, I heard that crap both times we pledged a Stansburger. And both times we pledged Bodie, too. Come on. I ain't buyin. Always the optimist, haufe
hey boys, i am glad you guys are doing well. For you undergraduate actives who don't know me, I transferred back to Canada and affiliated with the chapter here. I pledged in the fall of 95, and left after 97. congrats with the 27 pledges. we did well as well getting 33 this year pushing our chapter to near 100. I would love to here back from whoever does this page, keep it up!

Hello everyone. Glad to see Jerome Lee is keeping in touch. Just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive and well in my Masters program at THE Ohio State University. I am working on a degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs which means I'll be in college forever and they'll be paying me. Unfortunately not much. Stay in touch and let me know what's going on with the chapter and your lives.
Dan
The site looks good guys. I guess I should send some pics, but then most of those are already on the net. Ha Ha ! Anyway, does any one know if Ron Parsons is alive and abnormal still. So get ready for fun you little Popesters, cause its time to recon. Seeze ya later, Sink boys !!! Ed Gulewitz
I have some crazy news. I'm getting married!! I know it sounds wierd but I have found the ONE! Her name is Andrea Baxter and she is currently a DG at TCU. She will graduate in May 2000. The wedding date is set for August 19, 2000. I know that its a while away, but I thought you guys might be interested. Everyone is invited. If you want a formal invitation, email me your address so I can get an invitaion in the mail.
I recently bought a house across from the greek. I'm not saying that my house is open for all night kegers, but I am willing to help the chapter out if they ever need it.
I'm also launching an new web site. www.smileyman.com go check it out and tell your friends about it. I want to jack up the hits on it so that I can then market it.

Brethren,
I hope all of you read every entry. If not, please read this anyway, even if we've never met. The Board of Chapter Advisors (BCA) is making huge strides towards improving EVERY aspect of the chapter with the help of Purple Legionnaire Jeff Owings '94. One part is graduate relations. We all know that grad relations/support has almost NEVER been a big part of Tau Chi. As the first step, the grad relations chair Mike Alcantar '00 and I are making a new-and-improved Purple Link that will be enjoyable to read. (No disrespect to previous grad relations chairs.)
We know that contacting as many Brothers as possible is the key to succeeding with this. PLEASE contact Mike (londonbud99@hotmail.com) or me (email address above) regarding your current address and any personal info we could include in the next Purple Link. One grad once told me "the key to success is communication." I think he's right. Also, if you talk to other Brothers, please send us their info too! There are an embarrassingly-large amount of lost Brothers and we'd really like to update the graduate directory.
Thanks, Mike

Carl as always, great work in keeping this thing up. Karen and I are still in Dallas and slowly re-doing everything in our house.
Just a quick question for Hartig....You're not still playing pool are you? For those who don't know, I am the worst pool player in the world. All through school John and I had a bet: If I beat him (not on a scratch), then he would NEVER play pool again. We played hundreds of times and I always lost. The night before his wedding after quite a few beers and games, I finally did it.
So if you see Hartig playing pool, please report it to me.

What's up everyone? I forgot about this page for awhile. I think my computer was STUCK on porn or something. That darn roommate of mine! Kidding. Anyway, I was screwing around the other day at work and decided to make myself a webpage. Actually, for the reason that Mike Indergard doesn't have freakin' Internet Explorer on his computer. So, somehow we could remain connected, he couldn't see the porn and all the pics I was sending him... Check out my site, it's got some college pics, recent pics and some other shit, like a pic of me when I was 6 years old playin' soccer. www.home.talkcity.com/GaslampQt/errific/ERIC/html.
Later on, Eric
HAPPY NEW YEAR
